Wacovia services
When Wacovia was an independent company the area of provided banking services was very large and covering different customer’s needs. The company offered services of asset management, investment banking products, wealth management and others. At the peak of its success Wacovia was organized on 4 divisions:
- General Bank (small business, commercial customers and retail)
- Wealth Management (personal trust, insurance business and high net worth,)
- Capital Management (retirement, retail brokerage servicesand asset management,)
- Corporate and Investment Bank ( investment banking, financial advisory and capital markets).
It was one of the largest financial institutions in the Southern part of US with offices in 21 states and Washington DC. Also there are more than 40 offices all over the world providing quality banking services for customers located in different countries.
One of the top subsidiaries was Wacovia Secutities which offered retail brokerage to clients located nationwide and in Latin America. This was the first branch of the large Wacovia business that that was totally transformed after the Wells Fargo purchase of the company.
