Promotional Pens Go The Distance
I have written in many articles about promotional plastic pens having 5 or more owners in their lifetime, and I have previously heard of stories where people are signing for cheques in restaurants with their own companies printed pen, even though they have never visited the restaurant before.
But last summer when I was on holiday in Brittany, France, I went to the local Intermarche and when I was at the check out the check out operator was writing using a very popular printed pen call the Super Hit Icy. Nothing strange there you say, as these pens are sold world wide. But this pen was printed with the details of an English college; the college was Scarborough College which is over 430 miles away! Not bad mileage for a printed pen!!!
Now imagine your companies printed pens scattered all across the UK and potentially Europe. All this from a pen which is available from only 500 pieces, and costing around 30p per unit. This is especially good if your business is internet based and you have the capacity to delivery across the UK and Europe.
This is how promotional items of this nature work. You give them out like confetti as they are low cost and as people travel around they often get left behind to spread your promotional message, so each person you give out the pens to are effectively advertising your company for free!!
Each time I go into any place that I know people meet, I leave a handful of printed pens on the side. As I am sure you know everyone loves a freebie!!
